Goods inward process starts with Bill of Lading creation. This provides the control while taking the goods to store in the warehouses. The products are either imported or manufactured in local factories. These arrives to warehouses with the help of transport agents. WMS maintains BOLs, Agents, Stock Details, Agent History, for every inward. This also helps the user with the storage location in the warehouse. WMS Also tracks Damage, Shortage, Excess stocks during the inward. Complete history of each SKU is maintained from here onwards
Warehouse Storage Planning
Proper utilization of storage space is the key factor with this WMS. Storage locations at each warehouse shall be divided into Location, Sub location, bays, and bins. Storage capacity of each bin is equivalent to FCL (Full Container Load). WMS shall assist the user during Goods Inward, Waybill generation stages by instructing the user where to store or where to pick the products. The outgoing products shall be chosen either by FIFO or that near Expiry.
STPL’S WMS provides real time data on the moment of the vehicle and staff. This will help with proof of delivery and allows user to monitor the vehicle moment by getting instant alert on mobile and Email.
WMS helps to track complete sales history by which the organization shall able to do the sales forecasting on daily/weekly/monthly basis for every customer/warehouse/region/product wise, that also gives them control in their financial planning. The pricing of the products shall also be flexible enough to set it either to region/customer wise. Additional schemes shall be applied to the privileged customers.
Only authorized users shall be able to access the application. Each user shall be assigned with granular permissions of what all activities they shall perform with this application. All the activities carried out by every user is being tracked in audit trail. Approvals needed when the user applies special price / additional scheme to any invoice. The invoice shall be generated only when the sales order accepted by the supervisor.
WMS has inbuilt alert system that shall send mail alerts on hourly / daily basis on various operations. Stock movement, pending delivery, daily sales report, warehouse ageing report, stock near expiry reports are few sample mails that will be sent every day to the predefined set of users. The users shall also get the out of box reports for all these too. This provides better control on the stock and the movement.
